Blue Reflection
lesson 1😁
we had our first bike lesson.
On Wednesday we had our first lesson with Claire from the Energize team.First Claire told us to check our wheels if they have air in them, then we check our brakes if they were tight, and finally, we checked our chains if they were stiff or rusty.Once we finished checking our bikes, Claire said to separate into three groups. We had to bike for a little while and gently break in the box. After we had three turns at breaking, we played the BOX GAME.So the year 5's when first in the box. The year 6's were judges.when we were all set, Claire shouted ''GO!" and we all started and we rode anti-clockwise round.I put my foot down so I didn't win. At least I still tried.
Bike Reflection
lesson 2😁
We are back with Claire biking lesson. We made sure our wheels had air in them, the brakes if they are broken, and lastly the if they are stiff.Once finished, the year 6's to bike the BOX GAME, they biked anti-clockwise too.Once finished, we separated into three groups, tried balancing on your bike but holding it without putting your foot down. When we had three turns, we played the turtle game.(the aim of the game was to ride as slow as you can without putting your foot down.)
We're back with Claire, we played 2 rounds of the turtle game. I didn't win a round but that's life. Then we separated into 6 groups, 2 groups on one set of cones. The front people bike up or down the side of cones the bike that is going up,h as a cone in their hand and passes it to the opposite side while biking without throwing.I nailed it because I always ride one-handed while holding something. Our group got 14 passes without dropping the cone. When time was up we said thank you to Claire and we packed our bikes away.
